"Run This Town" is a song by rapper JAY-Z featuring singer Rihanna & fellow rapper Kanye West. Released on July 24, 2009, as the second single of Jay-Z's 11th album The Blueprint 3. It was written by the artists alongside Athanasios Alatas, Jeff Bhasker & No I.D., the latter 2 producing it with Kanye. This marked Rihanna's first musical appearance following her altercation with her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown earlier that year. Run This Town ranked at #31 on Billboard's Year-End list of 2009 & is currently certified 6× Platinum by the RIAA. .
