Jean Adebambo

Jean Adebambo was like an oasis of sweetness and light in the desert of misery that was "lovers rock" in the 80's. Her silky smooth tones and sensitivity were much more than a pleasure to encounter. She was a goddess who gave us a gift. She returned to performing in 2008 after 25 years away during which time her work included health care in south London. Jean died 15th January 2009. A big loss for music. A huge loss to all.
