"Listen to Your Heart" is a song by pop/rock duo Roxette, released in Sweden in September 27, 1988 by Parlophone and EMI as the second single from their second studio album "Look Sharp!" (1988). It was written by Per Gessle with former Gyllene Tider guitarist Mats Persson and produced by Clarence Öfwerman. The song became one of the group’s most commercially successful singles, reaching #1 in the United States and Canada in November 1989. It was also the first song to top the U.S. charts without a commercially released 7-inch single. .
