Led by the gentle hand of multi-instrumentalist Thelma Thanet, The Pleasure Cruisers specialise in evocative instrumental music suffused with elements of folk, electronica and post-rock. Their compositions are sometimes the soundtrack to imaginary films or are simply the backdrop to the blank void of existence. Thanet has occasionally been known to collaborate with Dainty Records label-mate Anton Rothschild.
