Def Leppard
"Hysteria" Album

"Hysteria" is the fourth studio album by the English rock band Def Leppard, released on 3 August 1987 by Mercury Records. It followed the band's 1983 album "Pyromania" and was produced by Robert John "Mutt" Lange, marking the final collaboration between the band and Lange as producer. The album's title was inspired by drummer Rick Allen's 1984 car accident, which resulted in the amputation of his left arm and generated significant media attention. "Hysteria" was also the final Def Leppard studio album to feature guitarist Steve Clark before his death in 1991, although songs co-written by Clark later appeared on .
